Welcome once again to my own family's Christmas Eve Tradition that I post every year for Prose - a reading of the Christmas story from the New Testament gospel of Luke.  For those who celebrate, I hope that you'll enjoy and maybe make this a part of your Christmas tradition.  For those that do not celebrate, I hope you'll enjoy for a good story's sake!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and I hope you all find warmth in the season!

November 24, 2016 at 12:31 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, from the forests of northern Massachusetts, I published Episode 0, an "Introduction to Prose." So, as of, well, this very moment, Prose has been putting forth entertainment into the universe for half a decade.

Since that afternoon in 2016, the show has released 144 regular episodes, too many holiday specials to recall, a handful of bedtime stories for children amid the heat of the pandemic, and 347 original pieces of short fiction, not counting those holiday specials.

To celebrate today, I thought we could enjoy the first three stories ever published there in Episode 1. Please enjoy "Just Earth," "Lusus Naturae," and "Marlboro Man."

An alien invasion is coming. Humanity was given five years to prepare.

Robert "Mack" McAlister, an overachieving young man from Tennessee, wants something more out of life, so he is off to train at the newly formed Global Confederation's Academy Prime in Dublin.

With two full years of the allotted five spent in rallying the planet, McAlister quickly realizes that preparing for the invasion is only a part of the challenge at hand. He must seek to bond with the three other members of his assigned quad of Primrose 33, fighting to form the relationships that make humanity worth saving before the world comes under attack.

After years of promising to do so, Sonbol the multi-part series published here on Prose many year ago has been released in e-book and paperback forms!
